THE CHALLENGE

With growing interest in digital solutions that make everyday life easier, our biggest challenge was to create an experience that united several financial features in a single app. We wanted to go beyond being just another digital wallet, aspiring to be a super-app that offered real value to our users and agility in their daily routine. With this mission in mind, TopPayy emerges to be a facilitator in purchases and interactions with partner stores, while offering security, usability and rewards.

When reviewing the previous TopPayy design, we identified several points for improvement. The old layout, while functional, was not very intuitive and required many steps for the user to reach the main functions, such as coupons and payments. The flow did not favor quick navigation and, therefore, our users could not take full advantage of the app's potential. This was a point we wanted to address very carefully and, thus, we focused on a more modern, accessible and efficient design, putting the main features at the forefront and integrating everything more fluidly.

1. UNDERSTANDING THE PAIN POINTS

COMPLEXITY IN USING COUPONS AND BENEFITS

Many users report difficulties in finding valid coupons and freebies, and when they find them, they don't know how to use them correctly in physical or online stores.

LACK OF TRUST IN DIGITAL TRANSACTIONS

Uncertainty regarding digital payments is still a barrier for many. To overcome this resistance, we chose to integrate Stripe as a payment solution, recognized worldwide.

DIFFICULTY LOCATING NEARBY PARTNER STORES

An important point for the adoption of coupons and offers is easy access to partner stores. Many apps don't provide a complete experience, making it difficult to use benefits. With TopPayy, we integrated a location system that helps users quickly identify the nearest partners, encouraging the use of available offers.

3. BUILDING THE PROJECT

We rethought every TopPayy screen with a focus on simplicity, clarity and usability. Our design team worked with the goal of making the app intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing any user, regardless of their level of familiarity with technology, to take advantage of the benefits offered. Each section was designed to be accessible and practical, from viewing coupons and cashback to navigating financial features, all to create a super-app experience that truly values the user's time and trust.
